Mobile Food Pantry

On the second Thursday  of every month
from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
the Food Bank of the Albemarle
 delivers food, purchased by Colington United Methodist Church,
to the Mobile Food Pantry
at First Flight Elementary School
 in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina.
 
The Mobile Food Pantry serves Dare County residents, especially those struggling to make ends meet or are in need of emergency food assistance, such as: 
Senior citizens living on fixed incomes
Disabled individuals
Working families that are making tough choices between buying food or paying for necessities, such as rent, utilities, medications and gas to go to work.
 
What do I need to do to get food from the Mobile Food Pantry?
Bring picture identification or any ID showing a Dare County address.
 
How can you help?

First and foremost, pray for this ministry.

Seond, save and donate your excess paper bags for us!

You can also come and help sort, package, and assist recipients take their packages to their cars!

Your donations are always welcome.

Note: The food purchased and distributed by Colington United Methodist Church at the Mobile Food Pantry is free. Recipients will never be asked to make a contribution in exchange for food.
