PRESENCE

Our presence here is our offering to God so that God might be

glorified. We had 55 persons at worship last Sunday.

GIFTS

Last Sunday we were blessed to be able to offer $5,339.00 to the

General Fund.  The weekly budget is $3,100.00.  We pray that God will bless & sanctify our gifts to do God’s work.

SERVICE

The following opportunities to serve as the Body of Christ are

available:

Dare County Home Health and Hospice have established a free, on-going grief support group and we invite you to attend. Participants can benefit by sharing their stories and learning a variety of grief processing techniques and coping skills in a supportive environment with others who can truly relate to their experiences. Meetings will be held the second and fourth Monday of each month from 7pm-8:30pm at the Baum Senior Center in Kill Devil Hills. The center is located at 300 Mustian Ave. Sessions will be facilitated by Rosie Rankin and Shirley Parker, both Licensed Professional Counselors. This program is free to all residents of Dare County. CUMC's Reimagining Health Collaborative Team  will be attending the 2nd summer gathering of Duke Divinity School's RIC mental health initiative July 19-20. Stephanie Beasley, Sue Leggio, Sherry Johnson, Temple Heggie.

Continued Prayers: We are grateful for Pastor Rob and each person who is willing to help during each Sunday service and throughout the week.  Please keep Pastor Rob and all who may help with worship and with Christ's services to our neighbors in our prayers.  Also, continue to pray for Pastor Teresa Holloway as she continues on her leave for spiritual renewal, as well as, the Monday Night Alive in Colington and the Reimagining Health teams as we plan and all work together to reach people in Christ's name.
